Common Questions

How do I add a child?

Open Manage Family from the home screen, tap Add Child, and enter a first name and age. Adding their interests lets Dad.ai suggest activities they will actually care about.

Why did my planned session not count?

A planned session only earns credit once you start it and complete the feedback step. A plan whose time has passed appears in History marked as no credit, on purpose — Dad.ai tracks what actually happened rather than what was intended.

I am not getting reminders.

Check that notifications are allowed for Dad.ai in the iOS Settings app, under Notifications. Reminders are scheduled on the device, so they also need the session to still be planned — starting, completing, or deleting a plan cancels its reminder.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings inside the app and choose to delete your account. This removes your family's profiles, sessions, homework records, notes, and uploaded photos. It is immediate and cannot be undone.

How do I delete one child or one session?

Manage Family lets you delete a child profile, and History lets you edit or delete a recorded session.
