Who These Terms Are Between

Dad.ai ("Dad.ai", "we") is operated by Patrick Walsh, Kilkenny, Ireland. These terms form an agreement between us and you, the parent or guardian who creates a Dad.ai account. By creating an account you accept these terms.

Who Can Use Dad.ai

Dad.ai is for adults. You must be 18 or older and be the parent or legal guardian of any child whose details you add.

Dad.ai is a tool for parents. It is not designed for children to use, and children should not create accounts or sign in.

What Dad.ai Does

Dad.ai suggests short activities to do with your children, lets you plan and record sessions, sends you reminders, and shows a history of what happened.

Dad.ai's suggestions are general ideas, not professional advice. Dad.ai does not provide medical, psychological, educational, or safeguarding advice. You decide what is appropriate and safe for your own children, and you supervise every activity.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity that happens under your account.

You are responsible for the information you add about your children, and for having the right to add it.

Acceptable Use

Do not use Dad.ai to break the law, to upload content you have no right to share, to attempt to reach another family's data, or to disrupt or overload the service.

We may suspend or end an account that does these things.

Content You Add

You keep ownership of everything you add — child profiles, notes, photos, and session records. You grant us only the permission needed to store that content and to operate the features you use.

We do not sell your family's data. How it is stored, used, and deleted is described in the privacy policy.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account and its data from the settings screen inside the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Availability

Dad.ai is provided as-is. We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors. Features may change, and we may stop offering the service.

Keep your own copies of anything you would be upset to lose.

Price

Dad.ai is free during its first release. If we introduce paid features we will say so in advance, and existing data stays accessible under the terms in force when you added it.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, Dad.ai is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for what happens during activities you choose to do with your children. You remain responsible for supervising your children.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted by a new "Last updated" date, and continuing to use Dad.ai after a change means you accept it.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
